Welcome to QA Quest ("we," "our," or "us"), developed by Antalsea Games. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application ("the App").

Consent

By downloading, installing, and using QA Quest, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.

Information We Collect

We collect minimal information to provide you with the best gaming experience:

Information collected automatically:

• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for app functionality and crash reporting.
• Usage Data: Anonymous usage statistics such as game scores, achievements unlocked, features used, and session duration to improve our app.
• Advertising Identifier: Google Advertising ID for personalized advertisements (can be reset or disabled in your device settings).

Information NOT collected:

• We do NOT collect your name, email, phone number, or address
• We do NOT collect location data
• We do NOT collect photos, contacts, or other personal files
• We do NOT require user registration or login

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for:

• Providing and maintaining app functionality
• Improving user experience and app performance
• Displaying advertisements through Google AdMob
• Analyzing anonymous usage patterns to fix bugs and add new features
• Ensuring app security through Firebase App Check

Data Storage and Retention

Your game progress, achievements, streaks, and preferences are stored locally on your device only. This data:

• Never leaves your device
• Is not uploaded to any server
• Is automatically deleted when you uninstall the app
• Can be manually cleared through your device settings or by uninstalling the app

Analytics data collected by Firebase is retained for 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted.

Third-Party Services

Our app uses the following third-party services that may collect data according to their own privacy policies:

• Google AdMob: For displaying advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads. Google's Privacy Policy

Advertising

This app displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. These ads help keep the app free for all users.

• Ads may be personalized based on your interests and app usage
• You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings: Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization
• Even without personalization, you will still see ads, but they will not be based on your interests

Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

QA Quest is an educational quiz game suitable for general audiences. Regarding children under 13:

• We do NOT knowingly collect personal information from children under 13
• The app does not require registration or personal data input
• If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately and we will delete it

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Opt out of personalized ads: Device Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization
• Reset advertising ID: Device Settings > Google > Ads > Reset advertising ID
• Delete local app data: Uninstall the app or clear app data in device settings

• Request deletion: Contact us to request deletion of any data we may have collected

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information:

• Firebase App Check to protect our API from unauthorized access
• Secure HTTPS connections for all network communications
• No storage of sensitive personal information

International Data Transfers

Analytics and advertising data may be processed by Google in the United States or other countries. Google complies with applicable data protection frameworks for international transfers.
